Hello! My name is Jerzy Ellanna. I am lifelong Alaskan, and an Inupiaq photographer,  who is currently based in Chugiak, Alaska after a 6 year hiatus to North Dakota. I have a B.F.A. in Photography and Ceramics from the University of Alaska - Fairbanks, and I have been doing photography professionally since 2014.

 

Photography was one of my first passions, and I’m continually excited about all of it’s possibilities. I love creating timeless images for people to love and cherish, there is something so powerful about capturing a moment of happiness or a tender smile.

A short list of my loves include my partner Jackson and our new to us home, our fur babies - Chloe and Mimi, my other life partner and best friend - Josselynn, a good brewery or bar (I've worked in the bar industry since the second I turned 21 - I love the community around a good space!), and the outdoors in general!

My other hobbies include skiing, d ice skating, ceramics, historic photographic processes, traditional home crafts and medicines, movies & tv, and dog loving. Please email me with any questions you may have!
