We’re a little less than a month away from @vanstockalaska - the BEST up and coming festival in Alaska. I’ll be there all weekend!

The team has spent their time, heart, and soul making this gathering the best it can be, last year I was blown away at the level of attentiveness and care that went into ensuring everyone had a good time. I got to meet tons of international travelers and party to some fantastic music!

Summer is here, our free time is gone, time to ride this wave of greenery and fun while we can!

I have a few sessions this summer of couples wanting a “do over” for wedding portraits and I think it’s a great idea! Getting all dressed up and heading out into the Alaskan landscape for some new portraits is an excellent way to have fun with them in a more relaxed environment and really get the images you envisioned!

I finally made a style guide! Choosing an outfit is actually surprisingly important for the success of your photos - but it doesn’t mean you have to be dressed fancy to have fabulous photos!

Color is probably the most important element for your photo shoot, creating a soft and harmonious look with your surroundings makes for the best photos and skin tones!

Hi! Today is Indigenous Peoples’ Day - and if I’m gonna share the rare photo of me, I should do an introduction as well!

My name is Jerzy! I was born and raised in Fairbanks before moving to Chugiak for high school, the back to Fairbanks for college where I got a BFA in Photography! My human and I moved home to the Chugiak area after 6.5 long years away in ND, I’m endlessly thrilled to be back in Alaska.

I am Iñupiaq, my family is originally from King Island (Ugiuvak), before settling in Nome.

Western Alaskan is in our need right now, as we have yet to see the total aftermath of the storm, please consider donating to the relief fund today if you are able.

Have you ever tried to photograph three boys at once - 11 year old twins and a 13 year old? We can all agree they’re pretty scary, yeah? No blood or tears were shed during this session, and secretly I think everyone walked away having a good time!

Having a big age gap didn’t affect our friendship - he’s one of the funniest, most calming, and caring people I know. Love you !
